WELCOME TO OUR FESTIVAL!
We cordially invite you to our 5th year’s dance festival! It will take place on February 8-9, 2025, at a new location – the historical palace Národní dům na Vinohradech in the centre of Prague, the Czech Republic.
The festival will feature two full days of top competitions for amateurs and professionals. On Saturday, you can look forward to world-class Pro-Am competitions in Latin-American dances the Czech open national professional Latin-American championship. Sunday will be fulfilled by national competition and world-class Pro-Am in Ballroom dances.
Simultaneously, solo girls’ competitions will run alongside the Senior Star Dance finale. The audience will have a unique opportunity to enjoy various performances throughout the Sunday.
Additionally, we have two special ball events scheduled: the Saturday Gala and the Sunday Senior StarDance Ball.

LOCATION
National house of Vinohrady, PRAGUE
Come and dance in the hall where the most prestigious events in Prague take place. To a place that stands out for its rich history, elegance and exclusivity. First-class service, VIP tables with refreshments and the hospitality of the restaurant right in the palace are ready for you.
Two large parquet floors will be set up for dancing, the larger one for the main hall with dimensions of 14 x 24 meters and the smaller one of 10 x 15 meters. The third hall, accessible throughout the competition, will be used for dancing.

SATURDAY 8th FEBRUARY 2025
The Pro-Am competitions will be open to foreign and domestic dance couples. On Saturday, the Pro-Am competitions in Latin American dances will take place. The highlight of the day will be the Central European Pro-Am Championship.
The events, recommended to not miss, will be the Open Czech Professional Latin-American Championship and the European Professional Ballroom Championship. The first rounds will take place as part of the daily program, the finals during the gala evening at the gala ball from 7:00 pm.
SUNDAY 9th FEBRUARY 2025
On Sunday, the Pro-Am competitions in Standard dances will take place, including the Central European Championship, Open Czech National American Smooth Championship and Open Czech Ballroom Championship.
Solo & Duo Dance competitions will take place throughout the entire Sunday in the Small Hall.
GALA
Saturday 8th february
Gala Ball – 7:00pm
Gala ball for the general public in the unique historical premises of the National house of Vinohrady. Visitors can look forward to a great orchestra in the big hall and a big band in the small hall, demonstrations by the winners of the StarDance TV show and the semi-finals/finals of the European Professional Standard Dance Championship. A spacious dance floor will be available. Visitors will receive special care when buying a ticket to the so-called “dancing tables”, where professional dancers will take care of the dance steps of the visitors and will not let them sit for long. So even if someone comes to the ball alone, they will dance the night away. We recommend purchasing a banquet and beverage package with individual tickets to enjoy the entire evening to the fullest.
SUNDAY 9th february
Senior Star Dance Ball – 4:00pm
The program will include the finals of the senior StarDance, where nine selected seniors will dance their prepared dances. StarDance stars will sit on the jury and you will dance to the music of the Big Band and enjoy the evening.
