Current situation – Latest Updates!

The Czech Government announced a State of Emergency effective from the 5th of October as a response to the COVID19 pandemic. New protective measures have also been introduced and as a result, we have been forced to implement several changes to the Prague Dance Championship festival. We regret to announce that all events will be moved to a new date which will be November 20-21, 2021 at the Žofín Palace. Our state has established a maximum limit of 130 people at sporting events, which unfortunately means that the festival will not be able to take place at the Žofín Palace this year.

SENIOR STARDANCES & PARA DANCE COMPETITION
The final rehearsal of the Senior StarDance competition has been recorded and we are now in the process of preparing the footage so that it can be released on the originally planned date of the 25th October, 2020. The Para Dance competition together with the International Para Dance Congress will also be moved to an online platform and will be broadcast on the 24th and the 25th of October.

Due to current state regulations, the remaining events in the program, including the Pro – Am events, Amateur & Professional Trophy Competitions, SUT & ČSTS, Žofín Gala Ball, Dance Masters Ball, Senior StarDance Ball and Salsa Party, will be moved to the new date of the festival, which will be on November 20-21, 2021.

For the refund of your tickets, please contact your sales company directly by 30.11.2020.

We hope that you and your families are healthy and safe during these uncertain times, and we are looking forward to seeing you all under regular conditions in 2021.
