24 october 2020 – Prague, Czech Republic

new dates of our event – 24.10.2020!

Similar to other locations around Europe, restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic are slowly easing in the Czech Republic. In terms of the newly set date of the Prague Dance Championship, this fact gives us hope that everything will go as planned.

As we have already announced, the dance festival is set to take place from the 24th of October 2020 in the Žofín Palace, Prague. Despite all our efforts to maintain the original program, due to the remaining pandemic measures still in place in other places around the world, not everthing will be fully implemented.

The PRO-AM, SUT and evening ball competitions remain unchanged. Unfortunately, the WDC Amateur League competitions will not take place this year. We are very sorry and we are looking forward to these taking place in the year 2021 where we expect that the premiere participation of WDC Amateur League dancers will take place in the originally planned format. We will contact the registered dancers for this year’s WDC competition and discuss the return of the entry fee or entrance fee with them individually.

On a more pleasant note, we are excited to announce that visitors can look forward to the Open Amateur Trophy Competitions and the Czech Salsa Championship, which will take place on Saturday, October 24, with finals on live music orchestra.

We thank all the fans for understanding the whole situation and we look forward to seeing you at Žofín Palace in the Autumn of this year.
