Pro/Am Categories
Competitions are prepared for you in all major styles and age categories. This year, the Pro-Am events are divided into two days: Latin dance competitions will take place on Saturday, and Standard dance competitions on Sunday. One of the highlights of both festival days will be the Central European Pro-Am Championship. On Saturday, we are pleased to welcome you to the Vinohrady Gala Ball, where after a full day of competing you can enjoy not only the finals of the professional competitions but also dance yourself. You can find the complete list of competitions below by expanding the menus of each dance style. The final deadline for Pro-Am entries is February 16, 2026, and discounted early bird prices are available for registrations submitted by January 15, 2026.

Participation in the Scholarship competition is conditional on mandatory participation in the 5 Single Dances (meaning separately for both LAT and STT).
OPEN TO THE WORLD AMATEUR COMPETITIONS
Cup competitions judged by world-renowned experts will take place in the categories U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U19, U21, adults, seniors 1 (30+), seniors 2 (40+), and seniors 3 (50+). Age category placement is determined by date of birth. Children and juniors may compete in older age categories.
The competitions will be held in the OPEN category (open to all performance levels) and the BEGINNER category (intended only for competitors without a performance class).
This year, the competitions are not organized under any international federation and are open to dancers from all associations. The only formal requirement is the payment of the entry fee. The final deadline for applications is February 16, 2026.

The Czech Open Professional Championship in Latin American Dances will take place on Saturday, 28.2.2026. For registration please fill in this form. The deadline for all applications is 16.2.2026.

Solo & Duo Dance Competitions
The competitions will take place on 28.2.2026. The deadline for Solo dances applications is 24.2.2026. Competitions will be held in the Ballroom, Latin-American dances and Caribbean mix, for more info about competition rules contact us at comp@praguedance.cz. Competitors outside Czechia don’t have to pay federation membership fees. Entry fee is 200 CZK (approx. 8 EUR) per person per dance.
